El Club de los Perfectos

El Club de los Perfectos is a musical play—written, performed, and produced by teenagers—that breaks taboos, shines a light on the realities of modern adolescents, and invites us to question what to do with today’s adolescence, both from the perspective of the teens and their parents.

The play explores deep and meaningful themes, touching on the open wounds of today’s youth, and calls for reflection from both teenagers and their parents—all within a fun, musical, and profoundly engaging format.

With a cast of 12 performers on stage, and a total crew of 22, Lara produced, co-directed and co-wrote the musical.

With every show sold out, the play went from a small 135 seats theater in Montevideo, to some of the most iconic theaters in the country, with Lara aged 16-17 years old.

In 2024, the play got nominated to 8 “Premios Florencio”, the most renowned and acclaimed awards for theatrical productions in the country, winning 2 of them, due to her work as Director and bring to life Original Music.
